Had a wide local incision and sentinel node biopsy last Thursday. I knew I was sensitive to codeine (I make higher percentage of morphine) so my post op was not very pleasant after being given opioid as I woke. Felt like I got dropped onto the surface of the sun, couldn't keep my eyes open and vomiting. Was given a couple of anti sickness meds IM and IV drip, didn't touch it. Amazingly I rallied after 6 hours and went home. I was given low dose codeine and only taken it once a day just before bed. Last 2 -3 days I've been getting stomach cramps and loose bowel movements. Everyone talked about constipation, is loose normal?
