Hi all
ive got stage 2 ER and PR positive IDC, I had a lumpectomy and axillary clearance 2 weeks ago and got my results yesterday.
the results showed a clear margin for the breast tumour, but 23/30 of my lymph nodes came back positive. I had a CT and MRI a few weeks ago and that came back clear.
the next stage for me is chemo, what I’m worried about is I said to my breast surgeon yesterday “will I be ok” and she said “we can only hope so” has anyone else had this and come out the other side? Going through something similar or know someone who has had this amount of involvement?
I’ll know more when I see the oncologist next week but just need some reassurance for now
