I have my appointment with consultant to discuss results tomorrow. Im preparing myself for my diagnosis.
I dont know what questions to ask my mind is blank I'm just so anxious and worried
Hi, my first piece of advice is to take a notebook to write things down and not to be afraid to ask the consultant to repeat things, slow down or explain better. I did that a lot as I found it was all a bit quick for me to process. It's also good, if you can, to have someone with you as they can help with listening and questions as well as moral support.
I would suggest asking if more tests are needed, details of treatment, timelines for next steps, anything you need to consider about your work/lifestyle depending on the treatment.
I've also attached a link to some Macmillan info that might be useful for you to prepare.
Good luck, I hope it goes as well as it can.
