Hi, this is my 2nd time of posting. I have Lobular breast cancer & it has spread to one lobe. Just found out from MRI that the lump is double the size they thought it was. I guess it doesn't matter if the breast is coming off. I am estrogen & Progesterone positive. I have a provisional date for my Mastectomy & Diep flap surgery on the same day. They are also going to reduce & match my other breast too. I know that I need Radiotherapy after the surgery. I just wondered if there is anyone out there who has had the same? I would love to hear your views, stories & tips for surgery prep & recovery. Interested to hear how many rounds of Radiotherapy you had & if you needed chemo afterwards. Apologies if I have some of the terminology wrong, definitely still learning! I feel as if my life is on hold at the moment & I just want to get going with the treatment. Feeling positive though & blessed to have such a supportive network of family & friends to help me through this. Good luck with your own treatments & thanks in advance for any replies xx
