Feeling really frustrated, I was diagnosed 6 weeks ago had a cem mammogram nearly 2 weeks ago the last test my doctor wanted and had a consultant appointment booked two and a half weeks ago for tomorrow
Had a call this afternoon to cancel it, reason being my consultant is on holiday and as I was booked in to see a different doctor tomorrow that doctor thinks its in my best interest to see my normal consultant when hes back, which i understand and I would prefere to see my normal consultant anyway so im glad I will be seeing him but ive now got to wait for them to get me another appointment booked with him that could take weeks
I know its probably not in the grand scheme of things but I now feel like im not getting anywhere and im stuck in limbo, I just want to get to the point I know exactly what ive got and how its going to be treated
Hi Charden
I understand it’s frustrating waiting for appointments and treatment plans. I wonder if you have been allocated a breast care nurse who you could talk to whilst you are waiting? I hope you don’t have to wait too long.
