Hi all
in December 2020 I had a left-sided mastectomy and lymph node clearance. I then went on to have chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Touchwood all has been okay since then but about ten days ago I started to get pain in my left arm between my wrist and elbow. Then a couple of days later I couldn’t get my rings on and my arm looked puffy.
I have contacted the lymphoedema team who have asked me to self refer which I have done but a response may take up to two weeks. Obviously I am worried what could happen in the meantime.
Has anyone else experience mild swelling that has gone away?? I have a sleeve but am nervous about wearing it in case it does more harm than good! Thanks so much everyone! Sian
