I had a ct scan a couple of weeks ago for different issue and they spotted a limb so saw breast clinic yesterday had mammograms, ultrasounds & biopsies done then was told breast cancer need more biopsies on other findings and been told will probably be day surgery but will discuss more at my next appointment. I just feel numb I’ve told close family I’ve had no sleep I just can’t believe I’ve got cancer I honestly thought the lump would be nothing it’s tiny so atleast it was found early. Biopsies area is sore and bruised so ice packs needed  there’s 2 lumps in left breast and a area that’s suspicious in the right been told I need to get other biopsies that couldn’t be done in clinic   I was at hospital alone and basically couldn’t take it all in   I just don’t know what to do everyone is going crazy as my son died of a brain tumour 6 years ago so everyone thinking the worst which isn’t helping me   I want to be positive and not panic   I have multiple health issues so I always face everything head on

  • Hi Leglessghirl

Welcome to the forum, I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum.  I'm sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer but as you say at least it was found early.  I'm sorry to hear about your son and  I can understand why everyone around you is thinking the worst but as you said it's not helpful to you.

I suggest that you bring someone with you to your next appointment as that means you have second set of ears to listen to what's ahead of you.

Wishing you the best of luck with your next appointment and with your surgery.

    Best wishes
