Hi. I have had 11 cycles of pacataxil after having a lumpectomy and a central lymph node biopsy which resulted in a positive result. I have been suffering with back pain throughout. My oncologist isn’t particularly worried and said it is a side effect. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank yoo

Paclitaxel made me generally achy but didn’t give me backache. I also 4 rounds of EC which also caused achiness but my bigger problem during this was the effect of the Filgrastim injections used to stimulate white blood cell growth. I only had them during EC and they definitely caused backache. As ever if something doesn’t seem right, be persistent about it, particularly if it doesn’t shift after you have finished the treatment.
