Hi, I recently had a stereotactic biopsy for calcification. I’ve had to chase up my results, all I’ve been told by an admin lady is that I’m going to get a call from radiology for an appointment. That’s it I know no more.
Does this mean they found something cancerous in my biopsy?
It sounds like they want further imaging or maybe further biopsy under imaging. Doesnt mean its definitely cancer but probably suspicious on account theyve done a stereobiopsy. Think i would ring the Breast clinic and ask to speak to a breast care nurse for clarification as the secretary wouldn't be able to give any diagnostic information. The BCNs are usually happy to discuss things with a bit more detail. Xx
