Letrozole side effects

Hi Ali  , ive been on letrozole for 5  months and I het awful brain fog and have been really struggling with other symptoms too including bad hot flushes ,terrible muscle pains ,non existent libido and am an emotional wreck -I have my reveiw next week with oncologist and am going to see what other options may ne available as I cant go on  this for the next 5 years . IM follwing your thread in the hope that others may offer some tips or solitions   . I hope you get some relief soon  stay strong xJo

Hi, some people do suggest that different brands of letrozole have different side effects (due to the fillers in the tablets, the actual medication is the same) so maybe it's worth asking about an alternative brand.  Or you could speak to your oncologist to see if there is suitable alternative estrogen blockers for you.  Best wishes 

Definitely try a different brand.  I take accord which was the closest generic to femura. I had the brain fog with tamoxifen, if different brands don’t work I think there are alternative drugs. Good luck
