Experience at Guys hospital London

Hello.

I had a core biopsy at Guys hospital last Monday 23rd Feb.  The radiologist has told me the most likely outcome is cancer, but i'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Guys and how long they took to get Biopsy results back.  They've said 1-2 weeks but i'm wondering what people's actual experience is.  I just want to get my results back and get on with it!  Thank you

  • hi - my hospital (QE) is linked with Guys. It was about 2 weeks for results. I can only reassure you that the oncology and surgical team are fantastic. The waiting really is the hardest part.

    Thank you.  I managed to speak to someone on nursing team today who told me my case is being discussed at the mdt meeting tomorrow.  Hopefully the wait will be over soon.
