Hi im going through radiotherapy for breast cancer, I had a lumpectomy Dec 2025 and now just had my 9th session, last night I felt a lump under my nipple, feels exactly the same size as my tumour, wondering if this is normal or should I be worried? Many thanks xx
Hi Kia
I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum. I'm sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with breast cancer. While the lump may turn out to be nothing to worry about it's best to get it checked out by your medical team. Give your breast care nurse a ring and tell them about the lump and they should be able to arrange for you to be seen.
Best wishes

Hi Daisy53..when I had my radiotherapy today, I actually asked one of the nurses there to see if she could feel the lump, she could and although she suspects its just a cyst, she's going to arrange for one of the bc team to do an ultrasound to make sure as its only been 3 days since I noticed it, thank you very much for your reply, I really appreciate it as im sure its nothing but you can't help feeling all bumps and lumps may be suspicious and its already a stressful time xx
