Letrazole/ ribociclib

Hi 

I’ve been on both for 7 months now. I had similar side effects except no sickness at the beginning. Now I have very minor side effects ( dry eyes, very slight loss of taste) and feeling so much better. However I know it’s different for everyone but in my case it has been worth sticking with both meds. Fingers crossed the same happens for you x . 

Yer its not been nice 1 day im ok then next im down again, Ive rang consultants secutery to see if anything he can do or advice, hope the longer im on them the easier it gets??

I have been on them for three weeks the pain in my joints is unbearable, I too have left a message for a call back, also my nails are lifting .I hope things do get better for us but I am doubtful with me it will be anytime soonBest wishes.

Aww bless ya, its 1 thing after another isn't it. Just hope the next cycles are easier for us both  

I’ve also been on both drugs since just over a month. When I saw the pharmacist at my hospital for a review two weeks ago, she was shocked I had been started on both ribo and letrozole at the same time. She said usually they start letrozole first for a few months so my horrible side effects were partially explained by this. I have had MSK pain, nausea and headaches, dry eyes but this second cycle has been better than the first which was awful. I am fairly concerned about the low neutrophils as I seem to pick up every infection going! To help with side effects I have been prescribed cyclizine for nausea and hypromellose eye drops too which is a great help. 

Aww I started letrazole and then a week later I started the ribo I was ok for the 1st 2 weeks but this week its been really hard with the side effects I have felt like my head has been in a vice k pain and the nausea ♀️ ive had the anti nausea meds but dont really seem to be shifting it and my appetite has dropped, I rang consultants secretary but still awaiting for reply on what to do as all they say is go intossessment unit ♀️♀️

Ive got until sunday then ive finished my 1st cycle so hopefully next 1 is more manageable
