hello everyone.
I am just trying to see what recovery was like for others. I'm currently going through radiotherapy, I've had 2 rounds already and my 3rd will be on Monday (because hospitals don't treat you at the weekend, apparently )
I've noticed I am getting irritated more, I am having mood swings galore, I'm snappy and on edge... all the time.
I mean, it's good that I'm noticing it but it's driving me up the wall. has anyone who's gone through radiotherapy had the same? and what have you done to help yourself? I'm worried incase I snap at someone at work or something and they take offence
Hi TushkerGall
I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum. While I don't have the experience you are looking for I noticed that you haven't had any replies yet so I thought I'd reply to you to move you to the top of the discussion. Hopefully someone will be along shortly with the benefit of their experience.
You might find it useful to ring the Macmillan helpline on 0808 808 0000 to talk to someone about how you are feeling.
Best wishes
Daisy53
