I start my Chemotherapy treatment tomorrow for Brest Cancer. Still very unsure as to use a cold cap or not?
Hi Lilyofthevalley
Good luck for your chemotherapy tomorrow.
I used the colling cap during my chemo for endometrial cancer in 2022. I recommend giving it a go. Its worth a try and if you do not like the sensation, it can be stopped straight away.
I will pop a link here with some info that may be of help. It is my own experience.

Hi, Hope your treatment went well. What did you decide to do in the end? I had the cold cap - it was cold! I had the cap for all of my chemo, luckily, I had really thick hair, otherwise, even with the cap I think it would have come out if much thinner. As my hair fell out, the cap was a lot more intense, but I managed it xx Good Luck with everything xx
I have kept enough for people to think I haven't lost much. I have been using those covering sprays (L'oreal) which have been really good. I have probably kept a bit less than a third.
