The only experience of this I have was from 27 or so years ago. My sister pursued a medical negligence claim because she was misdiagnosed with asthma and then pneumonia and actually she had Hodgkins disease. She overall lost her case for compensation because it was felt that even with a correct diagnosis, the treatment and outcome would have been the same. To get a financial settlement, you have to prove that they delay, or negligence, severely negatively impacted you overall outcome. I’d recommend you get specialist legal advice. All the best x
