Hi, Kellymb  I’m coming to the end of 2years of Abemaciclib, side effects are different for everyone, but I have found the fatigue and being immunocompromised the most disabling, but work has been possible, just not at the level I worked before - you could be different, some people have less fatigue, some have more digestive issues etc. I have had 2 dose reductions, and even then I have days where the fatigue just floors me - and if I have any advice it would be to let your team know if you’re struggling and discuss dose reduction - it seems everyone reacts differently and a lesser dose doesn’t mean less affect. Hi. I'm just starting my 6th cycle (also on zoladex, iv zolendronic acid and anastrazole). I'm still on 150gms and have so far found the side effects manageable, and went back to work on reduced hours whilst on my 2nd cycle. I've recently increased my hours,but still not yet back on my full hours.

I've been lucky that I have only suffered from the D occasionally- if anything, I've been more the otherwise, esp if I don't keep up increased fluids.

The main one for me is fatigue, so I'm not doing much of an evening on my work days, and make sure I rest when I need to on my days off/weekends- it's just been a case of getting the balance right (which I'm still working on!)
