Anastrozole

I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum.  I've been on Anastrozole since 2023 and I haven't had any side effects since I started taking it.

How have you found it over the past few days?  I am starting in 2 days so will let you know how I get on. I had a Zoladex injection last week - did you have the same?

Well, I had to have wisdom tooth surgery so my dentist advised to stop (he found research Anastrozole impacted oral healing). My breast oncologist has said since I'm now 5 days post surgery for the extraction she thinks I'm fine to restart.

From the two days I tried Anastrozole I had some lower leg pain (I have vv) and a crazy headache. Can't say I'm looking forward to restart. But I need targeted therapy for my skin cancer spread and need to see which medication has the impact. I start Dabrafenib and Trametinib on 11th Feb (bloods permitting).

No one mmentioned Zoladex as part of my treatment.
