Hello . I received my diagnosis of stage 2 invasive ducal carcinoma. Yesterday.
I need have been informed that I need a breast mri as my lump measures 45mm on the mammogram and 25mm on the ultrasound. Has anybody else had there tumor measuring 2 completely different sizes ?
I'm obviously worried sick . And feel like the waiting is never ending
Hi there, sorry to hear of your diagnosis and the challenge of not being sure of their size. The MRI will be more accurate but the waiting and worrying is or sure the most difficult time, hopefully you can keep yourself busy and distracted until you get the results. Weirdly it's often easier once you know and have a plan. Best wishes
