Hi I had a lumpectomy and lymph nodes removed 7 weeks ago. The wound on my breast has been looking and feeling ok for a couple of weeks now. But last night I turned over on bed and I think I've pulled something in it. I had a sharp pain at the time and it's sore now. Does this happen?. I have cording running down toy elbow and ribs right though the arm pit. Could it be something to do with that?. I'll phone the nurse team later but can't always get through.
Hello Fiona690373ab
Hope you are ok. I had something similar about 4 weeks after surgery. Also struggled to speak to BCN and when I eventually did it was dismissed. However, soreness increased - took 3 or 4 weeks to convince BCN I needed an appt - and my stitches had popped open. It could also be related to your cording - could have snapped. Either way, I would be insistent about being seen. Good luck and hope you get it sorted x
I think a cord has snapped. The ones in my ribs feel looser now that I've stretched them out. Have left a message with BCN though x
