I have developed an alarming collection of red patches on my leg which have grown considerable over 2 days. GP has prescribed steroid cream for 2 weeks but has raised the possibility that it could be secondary BC in the skin. There isn’t much information or pictures available online. Does anyone else have any experience of this please ?
Thank you
By coincidence my GP has referred me to hospital dermatology clinic under the 2ww and my appointment is on Friday. I found a brown suspicious mark on my heel while I was on holiday a couple of weeks ago and my GP referred me straight away due to my history. I had breast cancer with vascular invasion 8 years ago. Ive been looking for information/pictures too but not much comes up.
Thanks for your reply , I hope all is ok when you see dermatology. I found some information and photographs on secondary BC on Make2ndscount website . It’s surprising how little information is available overall. I wish you all the best xx
Thanks for the info - its made interesting reading. Hope the steroid cream clears everything so you dont need further investigation. Its always a worry isnt it. All the best.
Thank you, yes, the worry is always there, hopefully it will reduce over time.
