Currently taking the above, I would very much like to hear from those that are on this treatment long term

  • Hi TeresaRibo,  I am on ribociclib and exemastane as did not get on with letrozole and also on denosumab.  I have been on them since December and will be on them indefinitely or until they stop working.  Are you asking about the side effects?

  • Hi TeresaRibo,   I am slso on Ribociclic and anastrozole (switched from Letrozole) and due to start 6 monthly zometa infusion's (got to have 2 impacted wisdom tooth extractions first Weary).  I will be on this until they stop working or my body can no longer tolerate.   Started the AI in May and Ribo in July.

  • Yes I sm,

I hsve been really struggling with indigestion trapped wind. Oncologist won't hear of any connection with the meds.

I'm interested to know what others are experiencing

  • Hallo, i started ribocliclib and letrazole a few weeks ago, i fine for the wek or so i was just on letrazole but when i started ribociclib i had mild nausea after i had takrn it but it was sorted by eating, snd faded duting the day. But after completing the 1st 3 week cycle 3 days ago i have been feeling more nauseous and eating soesnt help. And as the day progresses i too have had severe teapped wind in my stomach , its not painful but makese feel really sick and bloated.I just want to do a massive burb but i cant. I think it is the meds but i dont understand why im feeling more nauseous since i stopped ribocylib for a week, than i did before. Yesterday i rang the hodpital oncology hrlpline and they prescribed metoclopramide but its not hrlping, and now the idea of putting a y meds iin my mouth triggers a wave if nausea. So your experience with trapped wind isnt unique. But can anyone telle if this nausea gets less as your body gets used to  the ribocyclib?

  • Sorry about the typos in what i posted above. Hope its intelligible x
