I recently finished my immunotherapy treatment for breast cancer in October. I had some aches in the same side as the surgery and armpit, going down my side. My surgeon sent me for a bone scan which was clear but revealed some enlarged lymph nodes in the central chest area. I was then sent for an Ebus by the lung specialist team and they had taken biopsies aswell, they came back clear of cancer cells in the lungs. I have an appointment next Tuesday to discuss the rest of the results and they want to send me for a ct scan to see if there is anything else that is causing the inflammation. I know these appointments need to be carried out to resolve the problem but I am getting so anxious with waiting games again, I just needed to come on here an talk, taking me a while to get to sleep of a night
Oh dear … I’m so sorry that I didn’t see this much earlier! I too, am waiting for the result of a test, and I was awake for three hours in the middle of the night. I did drop off again, but had very vivid dreams. I hope that you did get some sleep. I tend to keep very busy during the day, and try to spend some time in the company of other people (who don’t know that I am waiting, so don’t ask me questions) but my head reveals itself in the night! Xx
The waiting for tests and results are the worst feeling ever, sorry to hear you are too. I do try an keep myself busy doing different things and getting out and about but like you said, nights are different when you just want to sleep an that's all you can think about. I did manage to get some sleep, thanks. Good luck for your test results aswell xx
I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis, was told I didn't need to worry about it as I hadn't any of the symptoms like some that make them feel ill and they will just keep an eye with ct scans every 3-6 months . I hope you got your results and everything was OK or got the answers you needed Cloudier xx
