Hi. Yet another side effect to ask advice on.
the skin on the bottom of my toes is all peeling making walking very uncomfortable.
does anyone have any advice or any products they could recommend?

  • Hello,  if your skin is broken or oozing do not use this product.  It is kerasal intensive foot ointment and great for calluses and dry skin.  I use it after showering and drying my feet and then cover with socks as greasy and go to bed.  Someone remove socks before bed.  Use it about once a week.  Has a lot of urea in it.
Vaseline or CeraVe’s healing ointment is good too with socks over it so can penetrate.

Hope your feet feel better.   Do you know what caused it?

  • I’m presuming it’s a side effect of the docitaxel?

  • I had this a bit after paclitaxel treatment, coincided with change from sandals to shoes. I massaged them with zinc and castor cream- an old tub which I’d had for ages but it helped and the symptom moved on anyway.

I was scared about not being able to walk!

    Hope it passes soon xx

  • Thank you for the tip! X
