First chemo session

I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum.  Sorry to hear that you are struggling today after your first chemo session.  It does get better.  What I did when I had breast cancer was take each day as it came which helped me cope with my treatments.

Hi, just wanted to send you a virtual hug. I'm due to start chemo next week. It's an overwhelming time and I totally understand and relate to wanting to be 'you' for your husband and kids. All the best x

Hi BHope142d8136 I just thought I'd check in and see how you're doing now. I hope the fatigue has eased and you've not suffered too much with other side effects. Best wishes 

It’s a horrible crash after the steroids leave you, always my worst days mentally. I hope you’re feeling a bit better now. Doing this with kids is really hard, mine was 4 the first time, married, and 11/12 the second time, divorced, very hard. There’s a tip on fatigue management if you click on my name. I’d also add the same advice as when they’re babies, rest when they rest/are out of the house. It’s is daunting at first but oddly you will get into a rhythm. All the best x
