I've been on letrozole for about 4 months. Recent, I've been urinating large volumes. I mean, large. Has anyone else had this experience? There's no other major side effects.
Hi it was 5/6 years ago that my cancer treatment chemo/mastectomy finished and I began letrozole. I was also on Herceptin injections. I can't remember at what stage it happened, in my head I related it to chemo but anyway I lost the content of my bladder in the street. This happened a few times it must have been at a point when I was post chemo that I went to my GP. I was immediately referred to urology who did a very thorough examination. I had to measure my urination amounts for a few days, I was referred also to a specialist physiotherapist who was excellent and also to a gynaecologist (as I had a slight prolapse). Nothing sinister was found but I was given medication and although I still need to urinate about 12 times a day. I have not lost the content of my bladder except when sitting on the loo. I was told to avoid caffeine, up my pelvic floor exercises and lose weight (what a joke when on an aromatase inhibitor such as letrozole or the medicine I changed exemestane,)
Different from you but my message is go to your GP and ask for a check up with urology x
