Fatigue pre diagnosis?

I'm wondering how common it is to feel certain symptoms before getting a diagnosis.

I have noticed over the last few months extreme fatigue, breathlessness, heart palpitations, nausea, tremors. I reported these symptoms to the GP and along with bloods, ECG, etc she sent me for a CT scan of chest. Although lungs are fine they found a nodule on my right breast so now being referred to breast clinic. I don't know the chances of the fatigue etc being unrelated to the nodule (if it turns out the lump is safe) or the likelihood the two are connected. Any insight or experience appreciated!

  • Hi

I was diagnosed in June after finding a 4cm lump in my left breast. I had no other symptoms at all. I felt absolutely fine.

From what most people have said its usually lumps or breast changed.

Hopefully it's something else that's not serious. X

  • As above, absolutely no symptoms at all with either tines I’ve had breast cancer, both were found because of a lump or nipple discharge but otherwise I felt absolutely fine.

  • Completely agree. I never felt unwell from the breast cancer - only from the treatment!!

  • I was fatigued pre diagnosis. I’ve since had lumpectomy and start radiotherapy tomorrow. I’m still fatigued at times. My cancer hasn’t spread beyond lump. My cancer nurse did say that stress can cause this.

I’ve had CT scans, bloods etc and they haven’t found anything else but I am tired
