Hi everyone.
my girlfriend recently had a blood test and got referred for a breast scan and she found a lump. They’ve not referred her for a biopsy which is happening in the coming days. She’s only 24
The reason for the blood test was because of rapid weight loss, around 0.7kg every few days, being sick a LOT after eating (she still has an appetite) and constant fatigue. I’m really really concerned this is much more sinister and I just want to hear of some experiences similar if possible.
She has private healthcare, but the speed at which everything has happened is terrifying. The scan was inconclusive hence the biopsy too but they wanted her back in immediately the next day. They tried to take more blood to send off but couldn’t get any from her
im praying that everything isn’t related, but we’re both so scared and struggling

Oh after reading your post I can only imagine all the dark thoughts that are coming in and out of your mind and it is normal but oh so draining. I am glad that everything is moving along quickly so it can be sorted out soon.
Your friend needs your support and you are there for her and that is comforting so just keep being there.
Try to get a little walk or something where you can get out in nature as it may help.
