Diagnosed yesterday,I contacted my gp immediately ,got a reply today saying they don't do smoking clinics anymore..I really need to quit !!! Don't want to vape as I think it's worse ..any advice on recommendations on nicotine replacement would be greatly appreciated.. thankyou
Hi Dee 1974 welcome to the forum. Good on you wanting to stop smoking. I stopped 6 years ago and it was the money I had spent that shocked me most as I got an app for my phone that totalled it up daily. Do you have such a thing as Smoking Matters in your area as they are what we use where I live and they see you in the GP practice. It may be worth giving the Macmillan Line a call as they may know of organisations local to you that you can make contact with. 08088080000. Good Luck and I wish you every success. Gail x
