4 weeks post lumpectomy , had a lot of serous fluid that opened the scar and began leaking , had ultra sound and aspiration , that night I woke up soaked in the fluid , I’ve had various dressings as in colostomy drainage bag ( felt like udder sitting on the breast ) pico dressing which helped heal the scar, however the scar has closed and healed but I now have to large pockets of fluid .. Seromas… I know I can’t have radiotherapy with these , anyone else suffered these , and did the seroma re absorb on its own ?
