Possible problems?

I’ve had a letter through which states that my last CT found ‘evidence of distant metastases’ on top lobe of my lung secondary to radiotherapy, anyone else had this? The consultant I had was generally positive but quick and didn’t mention the CT results. I’m on tamoxifen and abemaciclib, should I be expecting more? I’m confused as a quick search made me worried

Hi, if I were you, I'd be asking for a follow up appointment to discuss this and get a clearer understanding. As with all of this, don't give in to the temptation to Google, but maybe give the lovely folks at Macmillan a call on 0800 808 0000 to chat it through. Best wishes

I'm not in your situation but please PLEASE don't ask doctor Google. If you stub your toe, it'd say you're dying. Message your team or call Macmillan. Get the answers from people who know what you're talking about.

Hi thanks I’ll give them a call, it wasn’t just a google search but targeted to cancer uk
