Found a lump in July 2024, had biopsy and mammogram but all looked OK. After a 6 week wait I was told it needed to be repeated.. they found something but 80% it wasn't cancer so as it caused me pain it went. November 2024 I got the news it was stage 1 breast. As it was unexpected I didn't have the clear margin so need to have and mri which delayed and other complications finally in February 2025 I had another re-excision and today reults are still no clear margin!
It's not their fault and the BCN is amazing but I'm only 34 and been off work since January, don't know when I'll be back or even if after I've got through the radiotherapy (I'm an activities coordinator in a care home)
Feels never ending!
Hello Supermeg90, I am sorry to hear what you have experienced. No wonder you are just worn out right now. I think the MRI is a good idea as it can show if there is anything else going on. The delays are not easy but tests can really help. Sending hugs to you and radiotherapy was not bad.
