Scan after chemo

Hi everyone.

iv almost completed my 12 weeks of paxo & carbo. I have TNBC stage 3. On Friday I have scan to see if it’s shrinking. I can no longer feel the lump so has to be positive right!
I am scared about the lymph node but hoping for the best

i was just wondering if at the scan do they tell you there and then & can I take my husband in with me?

I was told straightaway that my tumour had shrunk by more than half!

Me too! Even though I had far less chemo than they had planned (only a couple of cycles) it had shrunk by half. They were able to do a lumpectomy and there was no spread into the lymph nodes. Will keep my fingers crossed for Allworthit.
