Anastrazole

Hello Gander,  I have been on anastrazole for over 2 1/2 years and my hair has thinned too.  I had very thick hair before this medication.  
I use the Irestore helmet and have been using it for over 2 years so it has helped to maintain my hair.  It is expensive but I got it on sale.  Also I don’t have the newest model.  I have also heard that low dose oral minoxidil can help too but it is prescription so you would need to check with your physician to see if it would help.

I'm on the same med from December 2021 and like you say my hair is also thinning. I had very thick hair prior to Chemo.  Have also noticed that it's very dry and hard to work with.  Do you have any joint pain.

I haven't had my hair thin, but this might be because I didn't need chemo.- I've finished my anastrozle now after the 5 years. After the 5 years, the oestrogen seems to have gone from my body, so it's still the same as if I was taking them.

I did note that the condition was nowhere as good as previously due to the oestrogen reduction. My hairdresser's amazing - worked all around the world and has a salon which has so many hair awards from major competitions.  He recommended Keratin shampoo and conditioner.  The best ones I have found are OGX brand.  I buy 2 different types of theirs for shampoo and conditioner and alternate the different types each time I wash and condition.  For some reason, if I use the same bottle for 2 washes, it doesn't seem to feel as good, no idea why, but the alternating between seems to have kept my hair in a pretty good condition.
