Hello ladies!
Has anyone else in here had Dentritic Cell Therapy please?
I am having my 'mapping' radiotherapy CT scan/appointment tomorrow but I still don't know if I want to have RT as I have had Dentritic Cell Therapy. There is no data available that includes DCT and RT (as far as I know) so I'm really struggling to make a final decision.
The other thing is I don't know the likelihood of having long-term side effects from RT (tissue hardness, loss of mobility, lymphodema, etc). Can anyone give me any indication whether they had no side effects, early or late ones please?
I had 3 surgeries last year (don't ask) for grade 3, stage 2 ER+, PR+, HER2- inv duct carcinoma, but the final surgery showed no cancer at all (rather than clear margins). No lymph node involvement, no metastatic spread. ONCO score 45.
Thanking you very much in advance.
Sophie
Hi Sophie/Brezza
I was diagnosed with stage 1, grade 3 triple negative breast cancer in April 2022.
I had a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The radiotherapy was over 10 sessions and finished in January 2023. I haven't had any side effects from it.
Thank you very much for your reply. That's reassuring that you had no side effects. All the best for continued good health. <3
