Hi, I’ve just had my 4th PC chemo and have been having heart palpitations on and off for the past couple of weeks.
I had a quick ecg and nothing showed up but it was only on for 15 secs and I didn’t have heart palpitations at the time. I am stressing they have missed something and I have a problem with my heart! It’s causing me a lot of anxiety which is then making it worse!
has anyone had experience of this?
i am also on 3 weekly pembro and have filgrastin injections 3 days after each cycle.
Thanks in advance! X
Hello sorry to hear this, I had radiation therapy and I’ve been getting heart palpitations too on and off to the point I feel I’m gonna pass out. So I’m guessing it’s some how related I’m due to have a 24 tape this month to see what’s happening. Hope this was helpful try not to focus on it too much it can make it worse because of the anxiety
take care x
Sorry to hear you have been suffering too. Hopefully you will get some answers.
Mine may just be anxiety but I am worrying as I don’t know what it is and further tests haven’t been suggested. Unless I know what something is I worry about it and expect the worse and I think this is making my anxiety worse!
Good luck! X
Hi Kiwi79
Hope your doing ok. I had my 7th PC on Tues and also have Pembro and injections every 3 weeks. I have had palpitations every now and then. I just sit quietly and try to breathe slowly. It's all part of this treatment I guess. I'm really struggling after having all 3 drugs on Tues. Very tired, lightheaded, rash on my legs and bone pain! Trying to stay positive x
Hi, thank you for your reply! I hope you are feeling better soon.
my anxiety is not knowing what’s normal and what is concerning but I guess I’ve been getting them on and off for 2 weeks and not got worse and no other heart symptoms so Probably just the drugs. I’m also having the injections to stimulate my bone marrow so have side effects of that too!
it just seems such a long road and like I’m never going to get there and I’m struggling emotionally xx
