Hi All - new member here. What a great forum!
i was diagnosed with a triple negative breast cancer and started a course of treatment which includes pembrolizumab.
I’ve developed a rash to my hands, arms and feet. The feet are the worst as they are too sore for my did walking shoes.
I was prescribed steroid cream and recently antihistamines.
Has anyone any advice for me? I don’t want to stop this treatment.
Thank you
Hi Bettie,
I also had some reaction to it however they’re not sure now whether it was the chemo.
It affected my liver, caused spots on my face, and really bad loose stools.
I also at the time could have been having menstrual symptoms so it was hard to determine what was causing the issues.
I don’t really have much advice because your body will do whatever it wants to do and you can’t stop it. I asked plenty of times - what can I do for the response of - nothing.
They did stop mine because of the issues with my liver. I was prescribed steroids for 5 weeks plus numerous other medications.
I hope you can continue with the pembro. Good luck xx
