Does anyone know of any decent vegan water based nail varnish and remover for when my chemo starts.
Thank you
Hi Cloughclimber welcome to the forum. I know my friend wanted to have her nails painted during chemo and she used a nail Polish from marks and spencers with a vitamin e oil in which also helped to strengthen her nails. Maybe worth asking as I'm not sure of anything else. However I'm.sure one of the lovely folks on here will be along soon with maybe other suggestions.xxc
No idea but following as I’ll be taking note of any recommendations myself xx
I’m struggling to find any, let me knit if you do, please!
Yes likewise. I’m not sure if I’m being really dim but I’m not sure I understand what dark nail polish does (which I think is the recommendation most people say, breathable dark nail polish.) but why?!
I used Même Cosmetics nail varnishes & remover throughout chemo (and many of their other products too, the scalp oil was particularly lovely!). The products are developed by former cancer patients, are made with mostly natural ingredients, are vegan and the varnishes are enriched with silicon to strengthen the nails and block out UV rays. They protected my nails well during chemo, and I even continue to use them two years later :) x
