Diagnosis after lymph node biopsy

My 2cm lobular  breast cancer didn’t show on mammo , hard to see in ultrasound , radiographer guided by lump pressure . The MRI is much more sensitive .

Thank you. That’s interesting to know a 2cm lump can hide. I was imagining something much smaller than that. 

It depends on your type of breast cancer . Ductal is most common , lobular less so but doesn’t grow in a lump . 
fingers crossed that yours is too small to see without MRI . 
The MRI is okay . Just a bit strange as you are face down . You will know more after that.

Mine is ductal in a lymph node. I’ll just have to try and be patient while they continue their detective work. I’ll find out soon enough.

The scans will give them the information.
