Hi, I'm 4wks post bilateral surgery, left mastectomy and right lumpectomy, plus sentinel node removal.
Tomorrow I receive the results. Since my original diagnosis, every appointment I've had with my consultant has brought more bad news. I don't even know how to mentally or otherwise prepare for this appointment.
These weeks of recovery from surgery have felt like a reprieve but as soon as I had my follow up appointment confirmed, I felt my anxiety rise again.
It would be good to hear how others coped with their results appointments.
Thanks for reading. S

I kept myself busy while waiting for my results appointments. Like you my first few appointments brought me bad news but eventually I got good news and you will as well.
Wishing you the best of luck with your appointment and hopefully it'll be good news this time.
Best wishes
