Hi All
After DCIS diagnosis, op and radiotherapy. (the speedy but high dosage type that they have now stopped using) things are a bit wonky.
My surgeon wants to do a second op to even things up a bit - he was suggesting straight lipofill but now thinks a crescent flap - with some lipofill to push my nipple back front and centre.
At the moment I have a bulge above the scar tissue which was thought to be a lymphoedema but now they think not - so they think the op would help even that out.
Has anyone any knowledge or experience of this procedure - particular the crescent flap op please? I haven’t been able to find out very much about it.
I am in two minds so any advice/experiences would be really helpful.
Many thanks all, keep well.
