Hi
I thought I was pretty tough but I’ve had such pain from my sentinel node biopsy. The nurses got a lot of fluid out the other day which was amazing but it’s back and getting sore again already. I can only go back once I week. Any tips on relieving the pain?
Hi EEMP welcome to the forum and sorry to hear how much pain you are experiencing. These Seromas (pockets of fluid) are very painful and its maybe good to be taking routine Paracetamol if you are able to tolerate that for now. You could try trying to very very gently massage with your fingers over the area to get the fluid moving. Its gona be painful until that fluid goes unfortunately but not pleasant for you.
I would give the Nurse a call on Monday and see if they can see you to have a look and see what they say then ?
