Does anyone with bone meta from breast cancer know what their alkaline phosphatase level is? Upper limit in normal range is 130?
Thanks
Hi wino, alkaline phosphate levels(ALP) are markers in your blood and one reason for them to increase may be if you develop bone metastasis. They can also increase for other reasons. As well as ALP increasing, your blood calcium levels would also usually increase if you develop bone mets. These blood markers are not diagnostic but if you also had bone pain alongside raised ALP and calcium blood levels, then further investigation would likely be ordered which would confirm or rule out bone metastasis.
