Hi, is there anyone out there who has had/having Docetaxel, Carboplatin and Phesgo after surgery? I have spoken to some lovely ladies but so far, they all had this type of treatment before surgery. Feeling a bit out the norm on this one.
Thank you in advance xx
Hi MissL, I didn’t have the carboplatin but I did have Docetaxel and Phesgo after surgery. I would imagine it depends on the size of the tumour as to whether they treat before or after. My tumour was only 22mm so quite small. I found Docetaxel easier than EC which I had first. The phesgo I did have a reaction to the loading dose so was given piriton and hydrocortisone which settled things down. Now at each Phesgo treatment I have this too. Other than that I don’t have any other side effects apart from a little redness the day after where the injection was. It soon settles and is fine. I have my last one at the end of this month which will be number 18.
Wishing you all the best
