Hi I posted recently that I was diagnosed with cancer after 8 years clear of first diagnosis. I have had a lumpectomy and nodes checked and the good news is it’s clear, however I have a history of cancer on both maternal and paternal and close relatives and awaiting results of genetic testing. My question, is there a forum that discusses mastectomy or is it in general discussion. I want to be prepared for a worst case scenario. Thanks in advance
Hi Bandele
I'm sorry to read that you've recently had a breast cancer diagnosis 8 years after your first diagnosis.
There isn't a separate forum to discuss having a mastectomy and you'll find plenty of people here who have had one who will be happy to share their experiences with you.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
