Wow Londonmumof2 this sounds incredible. My late father had secondaries in his liver (was not aware of them .... liver was 90% full of tumour). Dad went to the Royal Free - they were amazing and ahead of time with dads type of cancer 'NETS' Neuroendocrine. They were just starting on a treatment whereby tiny radioactive sphere's (balls) were targeted into the liver tumours with the intended outcome that they would obliterated the turmor - I believe this was very successful ..... however this new ultrasound treatment sounds incredible and makes total sense (when you think how they break up kidney stones and gall stones using ultrasound).
Lets hope it comes over here very soon and progresses into the BC treatments.
