IDC grade 2, diagnosed December 2023.
Been having persistent hip pain for months so I had a CT scan 2 weeks ago which showed nothing wrong with my hip but there was a lesion on my liver. Dr said if it’s mets then it’s incurable. I was so shocked. Christmas Eve I had an MRI and then an agonising wait over Christmas for results..until today when the nurse called and confirmed it’s a benign haemangioma
So surgery booked 17th January as planned. Since my diagnosis, I’ve never experienced such intense emotion - fear, relief, hope. Primary bc is scary but after facing the possibility of secondary, I feel ready for the fight
happy new year guys xx
What a relief and so glad it was good news. Take care and good luck with surgery.
