Adjuvant chemotherapy

Same as me Jax - did you have all lymph nodes removed too? I had 6 chemo, no radio, letrozole and Zometa (2 of 7) over course of 3 years. HNY x

I had 5 sentinel node removed and one had micro mets. Now 2/3 way through chemo then may have radiation. I just wondered what happens after final chemo? X

I'm very anxious so just looking for a bit of reassurance thank you xxx

I had seven sessions of chemo 4 ec 3 docetaxel. Then a two month break before 20 sessions of radiotherapy. I now have zometa infusions every six months for three years plus anastrazole and ad cal tablets daily for 7 years

You will have a few weeks between chemo and radio. After my last chemo I was just put back out there. No further treatment till annual check up which is week after next. It was daunting I won’t lie! X

I get very bad anxiety before every appointment or test. So thought I'd check on here as to next steps after chemo.

Hi Jax007, I had lymph node involvement so had axillary clearance them had 8 cycles of chemo, followed by 15 session of radiotherapy with boost. I also have targeted treatment and hormone treatment too as triple positive. I had about a 3 week break after finishing chemo before I had radiotherapy. Once that finished I started on tamoxifen.
