I had my surgery on Wednesday. I’m recovering pretty well. My wee was blue (from the dye) until yesterday. I’ve just been to the loo (finally) and that’s blue too..

First time I’ve laughed in a while…  nothing like a bit of toilet humour to lighten the mood. Blush

Im fed up with feeling miserable and scared x

  • It's really strange isn't it? I got red wee after EC which they did warn me about so at least expected.

     Hope you are ok xxx

  • i remember the blue poo and pee, sending hugs

  • it’s uncomfy to lay on bumpy machine with arms above head, and holding breath, some counts up to 30 something.

but so far, ok, area is a bit red now, i moisturise few hours before, aloe right after and then aloe or water based moisturiser after.

havent showered yet, so after three days, going to today, thankfully not a stinky person, since chemo shower maybe twice a week, instead of every other day, no hair is low maintenance to be sure.

i feel i am getting cold easier, but I have long travels to get to hospital and back.also bit of twinges in boob area but will see how it goes Fingers crossed
