Does anyone get any side effects with tamoxifen. I am getting brain freeze, driving along and suddenly can't remember where I am. Also tiredness, a bit spaced out x
Hi, I’ve been taking Tamoxifen for one month now, and at first was petrified due to memory and low mood. It appears to be settling now, I still have brain fog but not as bad and mood appears to be getting better too! Still have hot flushes but in this weather don’t mind! X
Hi Fizzler, I’ve been taking tamoxifen since May. I’ve suffered with hot flushes but mainly overnight when I take my tablet. I do get them during the day but certainly not as much. I did get a bit of hip pain for about 3 weeks but that subsided and had been fine ever since. I have been feeling tired and I know tamoxifen can have that side effect and I do get brain fog from time to time. I’ve never experienced the can’t remember where I am or spaced out. It might be worth discussing with your breast care nurse or oncologist. Sometimes different brands affect you too. I have tried 4 brands so far and only one of them is good for me.
